I don’t live in the Warsaw area, can you still fix my phone?
While The Lab is located in the heart of downtown Warsaw, we repair electronic devices from our surrounding cities as well. People from Columbia City, Syracuse, Goshen, Nappanee, Rochester, North Manchester, Winona Lake and everything in between come to us for repairs.
If I bring my broken phone into The Lab, what can I expect?
When you bring your phone (or any other device) into The Lab, you’ll be greeted by one of our expert repair technicians. We’ll take the time to talk with you about the issues you’re having with your device before diagnosing it.
Once we identify what type of repair your device requires, we will give you a quote on the time and cost of the repair. We’re here to walk you through the process, making it easy to understand exactly what’s involved in your repair.
If we have the parts we need to repair your device here at The Lab, we can generally complete most repairs within a few hours. If you bring in an iPhone that needs a repair, we almost always have those parts on hand. You can either leave your phone with us and come back at the proposed repair time or wait in our comfortable lounge area while we repair your device.
If we need to order parts to complete your repair, it will likely be completed within a few days.
Is it better to make an appointment or just bring my device into The Lab?
Either option can be the right choice for you, which is why we offer both! If you call and make an appointment, you can get details as to how the repair process will proceed over the phone and your device will be repaired as soon as you bring it into The Lab.
However, if you aren’t sure what’s wrong with your device, it could be better to just bring it into The Lab. One of our repair technicians can take a look at your device and diagnose the issue immediately.
How long will I have to wait for my phone to be repaired?
Different repairs take different amounts of time, but we can generally replace the screen on your phone in about 30 minutes. Cleaning your device’s charging ports or speakers will only take 5-15 minutes and replacing your phone’s battery generally takes 10-15 minutes.
If you’re on a tight schedule, you can always drop your device off at The Lab and pick it up again when your repair is complete.
